The NEW 200 Series introduces the Gyre Advanced Controller:
Besides the existing flow modes (Constant Speed Mode, Pulsing Mode and Alternating Gyre Mode), the Advanced controller added several new modes such as Random Pulsing Mode, Gradual Pulsing Mode and Custom Mode - on top of that, all these modes can be run in Synchronized, Anti-synchronized, Timed Delay and Reversed Time Delay settings!
And we aren't finished yet - the Advanced Controller even allows you to program different flow patterns during different time of the day in a 24 hours cycle!

Comparing traditional powerheads and wavemakers, based on propeller nozzle technology, the latest gyre generator is based on crossflow technology.
On the other hand, gyre generators excel in moving sheer flow of water from one side of the aquarium to the other side. The sheer flow of water is so strong, that it would bounce back from the other side of the aquarium to achieve full circulation with an aquarium, ie. generating “gyre flows”.
